Grandstream Door Phones Dubai
Grandstream door phones combine SIP-based visitor communication with access control, video monitoring and door release. For a new Dubai project, customers should compare the current GDS3725, GDS3726, GDS3726Q and GDS3727 smart video door stations against the exact entrance workflow: keypad or doorbell, one or several call destinations, wired or Wi-Fi networking, required credentials, electric-lock interfaces, PoE, mobile access and PBX integration. Older GDS3705 and GDS3710 systems are also common in installed environments and may require support, expansion or replacement planning.
Which Grandstream Door Phone Fits Your Entrance?
A door phone should be selected around the people, network and access process at the entrance. Customers often start by asking for a “Grandstream door phone Dubai” but the real requirement is usually more specific: a visitor must call reception, security or a resident; authorised staff must open the door by card, PIN, mobile credential or remote command; the system may need video verification; and the device must connect to an electric strike, magnetic lock, exit button, door sensor and the organisation’s SIP/PBX environment. The current GDS3720 family provides a modern platform for these requirements, while the older GDS370x and GDS371x platforms remain relevant in installed systems.
GDS3725
Choose when a full numeric keypad is important. It combines smart video door-station functions with broad wired access interfaces and a metal IP66/IK10 enclosure.
GDS3726
Choose for a conventional single doorbell workflow with the same current-generation smart video, credential and management platform.
GDS3726Q
Choose when one entrance needs four independent ringing buttons for separate apartments, offices, teams or departments.
GDS3727
Choose when Wi-Fi 6 is useful and the project can work with its lighter enclosure and different relay/alarm interface set.
Customer Requirements to Confirm Before Buying
The fastest way to avoid a wrong purchase is to define the full entrance workflow before asking for price. Confirm whether the site needs audio only or video, who must answer the visitor, whether the answering device is a desk phone, video phone, Wi-Fi handset, control station or mobile user, and whether the call should pass through an IP PBX. Then confirm the access side: number of doors, type of electric lock, request-to-exit button, door sensor, relay requirements, keypad need, staff credential technology and temporary visitor access. Finally, confirm PoE, cable path, Wi-Fi requirement, switch capacity, VLAN, mounting surface, weather exposure, backup power and who will administer users. A quotation that includes these details is much more useful than a price for the door station alone.
- Entrance count and required call destination
- Video, audio and remote-unlock workflow
- Keypad, RFID, NFC, Bluetooth, QR or mobile credential requirement
- Electric strike or magnetic-lock interface
- PoE switch or 12V power design
- PBX/SIP server and answering endpoint compatibility
- Outdoor rating and vandal-resistance requirement
- Mounting accessories, cards, key fobs and rain cover
- Local or cloud management requirement
- Existing GDS3705/GDS3710 migration requirement
Current GDS3720 Series Capabilities
Grandstream positions the GDS3725, GDS3726, GDS3726Q and GDS3727 as smart IP video door stations that combine access control, SIP intercom and video surveillance functions. The platform uses a 4MP camera sensor with WDR and AI image-processing functions, provides multiple access methods, and supports management through Grandstream tools including SecureAccess and GDS Manager. The family supports Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0, while Wi-Fi 6 is specific to GDS3727. The outdoor protection level is IP66 across the current family; vandal resistance is IK10 on GDS3725/GDS3726/GDS3726Q and IK07 on GDS3727. The exact hardware interfaces differ by model, so relay, alarm input/output and Wiegand requirements should be checked against the selected unit.
| Model | Best fit | Key distinction | Protection |
|---|---|---|---|
| GDS3725 | Keypad-based commercial access | Full numeric keypad; broad wired interfaces | IP66 / IK10 |
| GDS3726 | Single-button visitor calling | Dedicated doorbell button | IP66 / IK10 |
| GDS3726Q | Multi-tenant / multi-department | Four independent ringing buttons | IP66 / IK10 |
| GDS3727 | Wi-Fi-enabled entry points | Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 | IP66 / IK07 |
SIP, PBX and Grandstream Endpoint Integration
The value of a Grandstream door phone is strongest when the entrance becomes part of the communications system. GDS door stations can use SIP to call compatible endpoints, and Grandstream documentation describes both SIP-server and peer-to-peer scenarios. In a business deployment, a Grandstream UCM or another compatible SIP platform can route the entrance call to a receptionist, security desk or other user. Depending on the endpoint and configuration, authorised users can communicate with the visitor and trigger remote door opening. This can simplify offices that already use Grandstream GXP, GRP, GXV, WP or facility-control endpoints. Compatibility is not something to assume from the word SIP alone; firmware, codecs, video support, DTMF or SIP door-open method and endpoint capabilities must be validated during configuration.
For older installations, GDS3705 provides audio door-access functionality and GDS3710 adds video. These systems can also be integrated with Grandstream endpoints and may remain useful where they are already installed. For a new purchase, however, customers should compare current GDS3720 functions, management tools, credential options and support horizon before selecting an older design simply because it is familiar.
SecureAccess, GDS Manager and Access Administration
Management is a major buying consideration when the door system grows beyond one user. Grandstream SecureAccess provides cloud and mobile management for the current GDS3720 series, including users, visitors, door stations, permissions, logs and remote-access functions. GDS Manager 2 provides local-network management of GDS372x devices, including discovery, user and group administration, schedules, live video and alarm monitoring. Customers should decide whether management will be local, cloud-based or combined, who will own the administrator account and how users will be added or removed. This is especially important for offices with staff turnover, residential facilities with tenants, schools with scheduled access or multi-site organisations where permissions must remain consistent.
Installation and Deployment Guidance
A reliable door-phone project depends as much on installation as on the device. The installer should confirm the mounting height and camera angle, weather exposure, cable entry, network route, PoE class, switch power budget and lock wiring. Where PoE is used, one Ethernet cable can simplify network and power delivery, but the lock may still require its own power according to the access design. Where 12V DC is used for the door station, polarity and power sizing must follow the official installation guide. The project should also define what happens if the network or power fails, whether a UPS is required, and how emergency egress works independently of IP communications. Access-control wiring should be handled by competent installers because an incorrect relay or lock design can create security and safety problems.
Typical Business Use Cases
Grandstream Door Phones Dubai
Dubai buyers evaluating Grandstream door phones usually need more than a doorbell with a camera. They are commonly trying to connect visitor entry, SIP calling, reception workflows, access credentials and door release into one manageable IP system. For a new deployment, the current GDS3720 family should normally be considered first: GDS3725 suits sites that want an integrated keypad and stronger wired access-control interfaces, GDS3726 suits projects that prefer a dedicated doorbell button with the same metal, IP66 and IK10 class of protection, GDS3726Q adds four independent ringing buttons for multi-tenant or multi-department calling, and GDS3727 is useful where Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and a lighter form factor are useful. Dubai offices, villas, warehouses, clinics, schools, retail sites and controlled staff entrances should confirm where calls must ring, whether reception needs video, whether remote unlock is required, what type of electric lock is installed and whether PoE is available at the entrance. A proper quotation should therefore cover the door station, lock interface, exit button, cards or mobile credentials, PoE or 12V power, answering endpoint, PBX/SIP configuration and any mounting accessories rather than quoting only the outdoor unit. Existing GDS3705 or GDS3710 installations can still be supported and integrated where appropriate, but customers planning a fresh deployment should compare the newer GDS3720 capabilities before repeating an older design. Fourteck can help customers define the entrance workflow, identify a suitable model and prepare the Grandstream IP phone, PBX and network components needed for the Dubai project. Customers should also confirm firmware, credentials, relay requirements, weather exposure and mounting style before ordering so the selected door phone matches the actual site.
Grandstream Door Phones UAE
Across the UAE, Grandstream door phone requirements vary from a single office entrance to multi-site access systems covering branches, warehouses, compounds, villas, schools and customer-facing facilities. A useful design starts by separating communication needs from access-control needs. Communication questions include whether the visitor must call a receptionist, security desk, IP phone, Wi-Fi handset, video phone or mobile user. Access questions include whether entry will use a PIN, RFID, NFC, Bluetooth, QR code, mobile application or remote SIP-based door release. The current GDS3725, GDS3726, GDS3726Q and GDS3727 platforms support a broad range of these methods, while hardware interfaces differ by model. UAE customers should therefore avoid selecting solely by appearance. GDS3725 is particularly relevant where a full numeric keypad is desired. GDS3726 is well suited to a conventional video doorbell workflow. GDS3726Q can route callers using four independent ringing buttons, which can be useful for multiple offices or apartments. GDS3727 adds dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and is useful when the network design benefits from wireless connectivity, although wired power and access-control planning still need careful review. For exterior entrances, environmental and impact protection matter; the current series carries IP66 weather protection, with IK10 on GDS3725/GDS3726/GDS3726Q and IK07 on GDS3727. Customers with older GDS3705 or GDS3710 equipment may also need replacement planning, migration of credentials or interoperability checks with existing Grandstream phones and PBX systems. Fourteck can assist with model selection, PBX integration, answering-device selection and project-level bill of materials for UAE deployments without assuming stock, delivery or a specific lock design until the site requirement is confirmed.
Grandstream Door Phones Kenya
Kenya deployments often combine access control with the need to reduce separate cabling and standalone intercom platforms. A Grandstream IP door phone can be attractive when an organisation already uses SIP telephony or wants the entrance to behave as another controlled endpoint on the network. A visitor can press a call button, the door station can call a defined extension or answering device, and an authorised user can communicate with the visitor and release the door according to the configured workflow. For new projects, the GDS3720 family provides video, SIP communication and multiple credential options in one platform. Organisations should define whether they need a keypad, how many call buttons are needed, whether Wi-Fi 6 is useful, and what access hardware must be controlled. Schools, clinics, offices, residential compounds and warehouses should also decide whether the door station is only for visitor communication or whether it will become part of a wider access policy involving staff credentials, time schedules, logs and mobile administration. PoE can simplify deployment where structured cabling is already planned, but the network switch, VLAN, IP addressing and power budget still need to be checked. For sites using a Grandstream UCM PBX, Grandstream IP phones or compatible SIP platforms, the intercom can be integrated into the call flow rather than operated as an isolated device. Older GDS3705 audio door systems and GDS3710 video systems may remain relevant in installed bases, especially when customers need configuration, maintenance or phased replacement. Fourteck can help Kenya customers compare the new and legacy options, identify suitable answering endpoints, and prepare an implementation list covering the door station, network, lock, credentials, PBX extension and mounting accessories.
Grandstream Door Phones Kuwait
Kuwait customers commonly ask whether a Grandstream door phone can withstand outdoor entry conditions, call an internal extension, show live visitor video and allow authorised staff to unlock a door without adding a separate analogue intercom. The answer depends on the selected model and system design. The GDS3720 series is Grandstream’s current smart video door-station family and combines SIP intercom, video surveillance functions and access control. GDS3725 offers a numeric keypad and extensive wired access interfaces, GDS3726 uses a doorbell-style calling button, GDS3726Q provides four independent ringing buttons, and GDS3727 includes Wi-Fi 6 with a lighter enclosure. The family supports IP66 weather protection, while impact resistance varies by model. A good Kuwait project should first identify the entrance type, shade and weather exposure, cable path, lock type, required credentials, user count, answering destination and network security policy. Customers should also decide whether local management through GDS Manager 2 is sufficient or whether SecureAccess cloud/mobile management is preferred for user and visitor administration. SIP-based designs can route calls to compatible office phones or supported endpoints, allowing the entrance to become part of the normal communications workflow. Hotels, clinics, offices, retail locations, schools and warehouses may all use different ringing logic and access policies, so the door phone should be selected as part of the complete workflow rather than as a standalone camera. Fourteck can help Kuwait customers scope the system, compare models, plan Grandstream PBX and phone integration, and identify mounting, PoE and credential accessories required for the intended deployment.
Grandstream Door Phones Ghana
For Ghana organisations, a Grandstream door phone can combine visitor communication, IP calling and controlled entry without requiring a completely separate intercom network. This is useful for offices, clinics, schools, warehouses, gated facilities, apartment entrances and branch locations that want reception or security staff to answer visitors through the existing IP communications environment. New projects should evaluate the GDS3720 family first because it represents Grandstream’s current generation of smart video door stations. The key selection question is not simply which model is newest, but which model matches the access process. GDS3725 is relevant when keypad entry is important; GDS3726 suits a single-button visitor call workflow; GDS3726Q supports four independent calling buttons for separate users or departments; and GDS3727 brings Wi-Fi 6 for deployments where that connectivity option is required. All current models support a combination of video intercom and access methods, but relay, alarm, Wiegand and physical-interface capabilities vary. Ghana customers should also confirm the availability of a suitable PoE network, the electric lock or strike design, emergency egress requirements, credential type, PBX call routing and who is authorised to open the door remotely. Where branches are managed from different locations, centralised access administration and user logs may also be important. Existing Grandstream GDS3705 or GDS3710 equipment can be considered in support and migration planning, especially where customers already have cards, configuration or phone integration. Fourteck can support Ghana buyers with requirement definition, model comparison and a project bill of materials that brings together the door station, network, PBX, answering endpoint and access accessories.
Grandstream Door Phones Uganda
Uganda customers frequently need a door intercom that works with existing IP phones or PBX extensions while also providing controlled entry for staff, visitors and service personnel. A Grandstream GDS deployment can address this by combining SIP communications with access control. The current GDS3720 family adds modern video, mobile credential and management capabilities, while older GDS3705 and GDS3710 installations may continue to serve existing sites. For a new project, organisations should identify whether the entrance requires a keypad, a conventional doorbell button, multiple calling buttons or Wi-Fi connectivity. They should also confirm whether users will enter by card, PIN, NFC, Bluetooth, QR code, mobile application or a combination of methods. Business customers in Uganda should consider the complete path from the entrance to the person who answers the call. A reception desk may prefer a video IP phone or control station, while a warehouse manager may need a Wi-Fi handset and an office may route calls through a UCM or another SIP platform. Power and network resilience also matter: PoE can simplify deployment, but the switch capacity, cable distance, VLAN and backup power plan should be reviewed. Access hardware such as electric strikes, magnetic locks, exit buttons and door contacts must be selected separately to suit the building. Fourteck can assist Uganda customers with model selection, Grandstream phone and PBX integration, configuration planning and replacement guidance. The objective is to avoid buying an isolated door unit and instead create a practical visitor and access workflow that can be supported over time.
Grandstream Door Phones Kampala
Kampala projects often require a visitor to reach the right person quickly while keeping control of who can enter an office, clinic, school, apartment, warehouse or commercial compound. A Grandstream IP door phone can be designed as an extension of the organisation’s SIP environment, enabling calls from the entrance to reception, security or other authorised users. When planning a new Kampala deployment, customers should compare the current GDS3720 models based on the entry workflow. GDS3725 is the stronger option where a full keypad and broader wired access interfaces are important. GDS3726 provides a straightforward doorbell-style experience with a metal, outdoor-rated enclosure. GDS3726Q is useful when one entrance needs four independent call destinations, such as four offices or apartment users. GDS3727 provides Wi-Fi 6 and can fit projects where network cabling is constrained, subject to the complete power and access-control design. Customers should also decide whether staff need cards, NFC, Bluetooth or mobile credentials, whether visitors need temporary access, and whether door events should be centrally managed. If the site already has Grandstream UCM, GXP, GRP, GXV, WP or GSC endpoints, the project can often be designed around existing SIP workflows after compatibility and firmware are confirmed. Fourteck can help Kampala customers prepare the required device list, plan extensions and call routing, confirm PoE and network needs and select a model that fits the actual entrance. This requirement-led approach reduces the risk of choosing a model that looks suitable but lacks the keypad, relay, call-button or connectivity arrangement the site actually needs.
Grandstream Door Phones Arua
Arua organisations evaluating Grandstream door phones may be looking for a practical way to let visitors communicate with staff before entry, rather than deploying a complex stand-alone security system. The same platform can also support controlled door release and staff credentials when the project calls for it. For a new site, the GDS3720 family offers video intercom, SIP integration and multiple access methods. The exact model should be chosen around the building rather than around a generic product list. An office with one reception destination may prefer GDS3726, while a facility that wants keypad-based access may favour GDS3725. A shared building with several call destinations may benefit from GDS3726Q, and a location where Wi-Fi 6 is useful may consider GDS3727. Customers should still confirm how the unit will be powered, how the door lock will be controlled, which extension or device will answer, and who will maintain access credentials. For reliable use, the local network should provide stable IP addressing, suitable PoE where used and a clear security policy for the intercom VLAN and PBX. It is also sensible to plan for power backup if access and communications must continue during outages. Existing GDS3705 or GDS3710 systems can be assessed for continued support or staged replacement rather than being discarded without review. Fourteck can help Arua customers translate the physical entrance requirement into a combined communications and access design, identify Grandstream phones or control endpoints that can answer the door and prepare a quotation around the full set of required components.
Grandstream Door Phones Mbarara
In Mbarara, a business choosing an IP door phone should begin with the people and process at the entrance. Who presses the button, who answers, whether video is needed, who can unlock the door, what happens outside normal hours and how staff credentials are managed are more important than a long feature list. Grandstream’s current GDS3720 smart video door stations can support several different workflows. GDS3725 adds a keypad for sites that want PIN-based entry along with cards and other credentials. GDS3726 is a single-button visitor station. GDS3726Q supports four independent ring buttons, which can simplify shared-office or multi-department entrances. GDS3727 includes Wi-Fi 6 for designs that benefit from wireless networking. The platform also supports SIP calling, so the entrance can be integrated with compatible IP phones and PBX systems instead of using a separate analogue handset. Customers should verify PoE, lock type, relay requirements, exit devices, door contacts, credential quantity and mounting accessories before purchase. Outdoor installations should use the protection rating and mounting environment as part of the design, not as an afterthought. Organisations with an existing Grandstream GDS3705 or GDS3710 can also ask for configuration, endpoint integration or migration advice. Fourteck can help Mbarara buyers compare these choices and plan the complete system, including the door station, answering phone, UCM or SIP server configuration, network switch and access accessories. This helps ensure that the selected device fits daily operational needs and can be maintained as staff, branches or access policies change.
Grandstream Door Phones Gulu
Gulu customers may need a Grandstream door phone for an office gate, staff entrance, clinic, school, warehouse or managed residential site where visitor verification and controlled access must be combined. The current Grandstream GDS3720 family is designed for this type of converged deployment, using IP video, SIP communication and access-control methods in the same endpoint. The model choice should be made from the entrance workflow. GDS3725 is appropriate when a full keypad is required. GDS3726 provides a dedicated call button, while GDS3726Q adds four independent ringing buttons for environments with multiple destinations. GDS3727 offers Wi-Fi 6 and can be useful where wireless connectivity is part of the design. Customers should review how the visitor call is answered, whether reception needs live video, whether mobile users should be able to unlock remotely, and how staff credentials will be issued and revoked. For institutions, access schedules and audit information may also matter. The networking team should confirm PoE availability, IP addressing, bandwidth, PBX registration, VLAN segmentation and backup power. The installer should separately confirm the electric lock, relay logic, door sensor, exit button and mechanical mounting. Older GDS3705 audio units and GDS3710 video units may remain in installed systems and can be considered in expansion or migration plans. Fourteck can help Gulu customers convert these requirements into a suitable Grandstream model and supporting bill of materials, including compatible answering endpoints, PBX configuration and network components. The result should be a controlled entry workflow, not simply a camera at the door.
Grandstream Door Phones Nigeria
Nigeria projects can range from a single front-door intercom to multi-branch access systems where visitor calls, staff credentials and security monitoring must work within the same IP environment. Grandstream door phones are relevant when a customer wants SIP communication at the entrance and would benefit from integrating that communication with a Grandstream UCM, IP phones, Wi-Fi handsets, video phones or compatible third-party SIP systems. The current GDS3720 series should be assessed for new deployments. GDS3725 is strong for keypad-driven entry and wider access-control interfaces, GDS3726 is suited to a single doorbell workflow, GDS3726Q provides four independent call buttons and GDS3727 brings Wi-Fi 6. The family supports several credential types and remote-management options, but customers should confirm the exact model interfaces and licensing/user requirements before procurement. Nigeria organisations with multiple sites should decide whether each branch will manage credentials locally or whether access administration should be centralised. They should also plan network segmentation, PoE switching, power backup, door hardware and secure PBX configuration. A school or clinic may prioritise controlled visitor screening, while a warehouse may prioritise durable outdoor installation and rapid contact with security. Existing GDS3705 and GDS3710 systems can still be reviewed for maintenance, integration or phased replacement where they are already deployed. Fourteck can help Nigerian customers compare models, define the SIP call flow, choose answering endpoints and prepare the surrounding network and access components needed for a complete project rather than treating the door station as a stand-alone purchase.
Grandstream Door Phones Seychelles
Seychelles customers looking at Grandstream door phones often need an IP-based entrance solution that is compact enough for a single site but flexible enough to integrate with business telephony, visitor management and access control. The GDS3720 series is suited to this type of project because it combines video intercom, SIP communication, credentials and door control in an outdoor-rated platform. Selection should still be requirement-led. GDS3725 is useful where PIN entry and a keypad are essential; GDS3726 is designed around a single visitor call button; GDS3726Q adds four independent ringing buttons; and GDS3727 adds Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Customers should plan the installation around the actual entrance environment, including exposure to weather, mounting surface, network cable route, PoE switch capacity, lock hardware and emergency egress. A visitor call must also have a clear destination, such as reception, a video phone, a control station or an authorised mobile workflow. Where a Grandstream UCM or other SIP platform is already installed, the door station can be considered as part of the communications system after compatibility and firmware are checked. Sites using older GDS3705 or GDS3710 equipment may need support, reconfiguration or a staged move to the new platform. Fourteck can help Seychelles customers compare the available models, define the answering and unlocking process, and identify the Grandstream phones, PBX, network and access accessories needed. This ensures the chosen solution reflects real operational requirements instead of relying on a generic door-phone bundle.
